About MDI

International Market Development and Investment JSC. (MDI) is a Vietnamese company specialized in  equitable trading and consulting in the agriculture and handicraft sectors in Vietnam. The company is committed to the development of the rural sector in Vietnam, and believes that the best way to accomplish sustainable development is by doing business in a fair and ethical way with people in the sector.

MDI staff have extensive experience in supporting the agriculture and rural development sector in Vietnam, including more than 7 years of undertaking development activities in all agro-ecological regions of Vietnam.

The majority of agricultural production in Vietnam is based on small family farms, normally of less than half a hectare. Assisting small scale farmers to work together to meet the rapidly changing requirements of the market is one of the key activities of MDI.
