committed to the development of the rural sector in Vietnam, and

by doing business in a fair and ethical way with people in the
sector.
Equitably Traded Products
MDI is specialized in equitably traded agricultural products and handicraft products. Agricultural products which the company is currently working with include coffee, green tea, jasmine tea, snow mountain tea and cashews.
MDI is the first Fairtrade certified exporter and processor of cashew kernels in Vietnam, and is a Fairtrade certified exporter and processor of tea. MDI is also the first Vietnamese Fairtrade licensee which can develop labeled Fairtrade products for sale in the domestic market and also for export.
MDI is the world's first company from a developing country licensed to develop and sell Fairtrade labeled products.

Project Activities

MDI has just moved to new offices at 100A Xuan Dieu Street in Tay Ho District of Hanoi. The new office space also includes the Betterday Fairtrade and Organic Shop - Hanoi's first Fairtrade shop.
betterday fairtrade green tea and fairtrade jasmine tea is now available in teabags - conveniently packed in 50g packs (25 teabags of 2g).
MDI has just released betterday regular and premium roast/salted cashews in Vietnam, the first Fairtrade cashew products on the Vietnamese market. Cashews are available in vacuum packed 200g size.
